Human Powered Submarine Team (HPS)

The UW Human Powered Submarine (HPS) Team designs and manufactures a submarine to compete at the International Submarine Races in Bethesda, MD or the European International Submarine Races in Gosport, England. Our team consists of both volunteer and credit-earning members from an array of engineering disciplines. Our goal is to develop the most effective submarine system possible, relying solely on human power. New members are welcome to attend our weekly meetings.

We take applications at the start of autumn and winter quarter, but everyone is accepted. New members can apply on our website.
