CLIMB

The CLIMB (Connect, Leverage, Initiate, Maximize, Build) model helps students navigate the complicated career journey.

CLIMB will provide you with the resources to self-assess your current level of career preparedness and set you up for success regardless of your year, application type, or career awareness.

Everyone can CLIMB

The CLIMB model will benefit you regardless of whether you are a freshman, transfer student, graduate student, or come from a high school, 2-year college, 4-year college, military, or the workforce.

It doesn't matter what level of career awareness you have when you join the UW College of Engineering; the CLIMB model will support your growth toward career success.

Taking your first step

It's ok to begin developing career awareness while you acclimate to academic life.

You may have a clear idea of what you want to do with your engineering degree and are ready to dive into your classes. You might be feeling overwhelmed. Either way, you only need to take the next step.
