Jacques "Chris" Rudell

Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering

Jacques "Chris" Rudell

Chris Rudell joined the Electrical Engineering faculty from the Advanced Radio Technology Group at Intel where his work focused on RF transceiver circuits and systems in advanced CMOS processes.

Rudell brings a wealth of experience from industry and academia to his position. He received his PhD from the University of California Berkeley where he was also a postdoctoral researcher. His research activity at Berkeley was in the area of CMOS analog RF IC design, specifically, on new transceiver architectures which facilitate high levels of transceiver integration and improved performance in low-cost, standard CMOS technology.

His industry experience includes positions with Delco Electronics (now Delphi) working on bipolar analog circuits for automotive applications. Prior to joining Intel he held positions at Berkana Wireless (now Qualcomm) as an Analog/RF IC Design Engineer and later the Design Manager of Advanced IC Development Group.
