Outreach
Increasing exposure to engineering disciplines and participation in post-secondary educational pathways.
Outreach may look like:
- Programming the Engineering Ambassadors for a visit to local classrooms
- Hosting youth on campus to share on a STEM topic through research or hands-on activities.
Recruitment
Directly engaging prospective students (first-years and transfers, primarily from high school or community and technical programs) with the purpose of increasing applications, admission rates, and enrollment.
Recruitment may look like:
- Attending a college fair at a high school, technical or community college
- Hosting an information session on admissions
- Participating in UW Transfer Student Preview Day
